• Hello,

I purchased a premium theme an uploaded it to my hosting site, where it works great. Here is a link: https://173.193.223.220/~garrett/ (Note, this site is under development. But you can at least get the idea.)

However, when I load it in my local WordPress installation, I get code-like gobbledygook all over the page. Please note sample below. I do get some color and some images– but they are messed up. Interestingly, the built-in WordPress theme, ‘Twenty Ten,’ works perfectly. It only happens with this premium theme. My assumption is that it is trying to use some feature that I don’t have configured. Any ideas?

  • If this is a commercial theme, you need to contact the theme vendors for support.

I tried that. I was told that it was a local configuration issue. They closed my request and didn’t help me any further.

    Nice, huh? ??

I evidently pasted in too much of the code that’s appearing on the page. Here is a smaller chunk:

‘”Layout & Navigation”, “type” => “title”), array( “name” => “Color Scheme”, “type” => “head”), array( “type” => “open”), array( “name” => “Choose style:”, “desc” => “You have three diffrent styles to choose from. Enjoy !”, “id” => $shortname.”_style”, “std” => “”, “type” => “select”, “options” => array(“blue”,”green”,”yellow”,”gray”,”purple”,”dark_blue”)), array( “type” => “close”), array( “name” => “Header Navigation”, “type” => “head2”), array( “type” => “open”), array( “name” => “Exclude Pages ?”‘
