    Hello!
I want to report a plugin issue to you. I use it on several sites and I found that it distorts the code when I share an article. The spaces between the title of the post, the article and the link to the article disappear. Rankmath specialists were the ones who did the debugging.
    Thank you!

  • Hi there,

To fix the “broken code”, you can disable minifying of HTML in WP-Optimize > Minify.

Though the way the code looks shouldn’t affect anything. Can you share the discussion with Rankmath specialists where they come to the conclusion that this formatting causes the issue?

The preview is generated by the content in the <meta> tags, and not the spacing in the tags, which shouldn’t matter in this place.

    Marc.

If Minifying generates this problem, can’t you fix this conflict? I wish I could use the plugin to its full potential because part of minyfing does its job well.

I can send you the conversation with RankMath. Give me an email address where I can send capture.

We first have to confirm that the issue is there to be able to fix anything.

Have you tried to disable disable minifying of HTML in WP-Optimize > Minify, to see if it fixes the issue? If it does, you will still be able to benefit of all the other features of WP-Optimize. Minification of HTML is good, but only has a small impact compared to the other parts.

I disabled Minify, the problem is fixed, so that’s where the problem comes from. I’ll send a message there if I have to. The problem needs to be fixed because I am sure that RankMath is widely used at the moment. It would be good for the two plugins to be compatible.

Thanks. Did you disable minify completely, or just the “process HTML” setting as I suggested?
