Code cleanup. Is there a way not to do it?

  • I’m having a problem when editing posts/pages.
    As an example, when adding a <script> tag, the editor (not the visual rich) cleans up the code and packs everything together. This will make some scripts not to work. Is there a way not to have code cleanup in the editor? Same goes for <p>, <div>, <br>, etc. Sometimes I really want to have those breaks there. Is there anyway to do this?
    I’m not an html expert so, this might sound dumb, but is something that is bugging me alot.
