Code editor changes not saved for custom fields

I notice that on custom fields that use the tinymce editor are affected by this plugin. When making changes in the text/code editor the changes are not reflected in the visual editor and are not saved when the page is updated. Changes made in the visual editor are likewise not reflected in the text editor but they do save when you update the page.
