I’m definitely logged out, is it possibly because WordPress is installed in a subfolder?

@mohobook could be. I haven’t installed WP in a subfolder for more than 5 years now, so, haven’t tested ASE with it. By the way, by “traditional login URL”, did you mean “/wp-login.php” ?

I’ve just tested while logged-out, and visiting /wp-login.php correctly redirects to a /not_found/ (404 page), as intended.

Correct, if I manually change the URL after logging out

FROM
https://example.com/sandbox/wp-login.php?backend&redirect=false

TO
https://example.com/sandbox/wp-login.php

I get the above mentioned error

@mohobook so, what was the “traditional login URL” that produced the error in the first place?

When the following URL is loaded, in a logged-out state, the error appears

https://example.com/sandbox/wp-login.php

@mohobook please consider subfolder installation unsupported for now, as I don’t see it often. Closing the ticket for now.
