Hi – another plugin developer asked me to ask you a question, based on a question I asked them about including pages they create in the Google sitemap…

I am using a GravityForms plugin called Gravity Forms Post Content Merge Tags (https://gravitywiz.com/documentation/gravity-forms-post-content-merge-tags/)

It basically creates persistent pages that are built from GravityForms entries if you pass it an “eid” in the query string.

The URL’s have a format similar to: https://sample.com/invite/?eid=6b1ece

I asked how the pages could be incorporated into the sitemap created by your plugin. Here was his response:

I didn’t see an obvious way to integrate with this plugin to let it know about the custom eid versions of the URL. If you could reach out to the plugin developer and ask him to provide a basic code example of how to integrate with the plugins and specify custom URLs to be included in the sitemap, I’m pretty sure we could get you the rest of the way there as far as integrating with Post Content Merge Tags.

One other consideration is will Google recognized each query string as a unique URL? SEO is admittedly not my forte.

Please let me know what I can tell the plugin developer.

    Thank you.
