    Hello,

when I set up Really simple ssl, there is a notice that “Code execution is allowed in the public ‘Uploads’ folder.” is still an open task.

When I click on “Fix”, this function is enabled.

But when I return to the setup page, the notice is still there, telling me that “Code execution is allowed in the public ‘Uploads’ folder.” is still open.

How to enable this function properly?

    Thanks!

    Hi @hans410947,

It’s possible that this notice is still “cached” but that the actual setting has already been correctly activated.

You can check that your /wp-content/uploads/ folder now contains a “.htaccess” file. If it does, the setting has been activated and you may safely dismiss the notice about it by clicking the “X” behind the message in the SSL Dashboard.

    Kind regards, Jarno
