Code not added to email when basket only contains virtual products

Hello. I have a bit of a weird one here.
I’m selling both physical & digital objects. Both come with a license key and your plugin is working great, almost.
When a basket contains either physical objects only, or a combination of physical & digital objects, the keys are sent out with the order confirmation emails just fine. Works perfectly (thanks btw!)

But when a basket ONLY contains virtual objects, the codes are not attatched to the order confirmation emails. The email contains the div that usually should include the code, as well as the name of the code, but the actual code is missing completely. I’ve been going through all settings trying to figure out if I forgot to config something properly but cant seem to find the solution. Can you confirm if this is a bug or just me being dumb? thank you ??
