    Hi,

When I just create a new post and insert the gallery it looks ok.
But when you see the author page it shows this code. look the page link.
And so I have always to go inside the post and edit the code text taking off this part.

    ” template=”/home/ricomendonca/public_html/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ngglegacy/view/gallery-caption.php” order_by=”sortorder” order_direction=”ASC” returns=”included” maximum_entity_count=”500″]

Let me know what you suggest.
    Thanks
    Roberto

    Ok Roberto,
Let’s check if is a plugin conflict anyway.
As always, we recommend performing a full website backup before any big major change on your site.

1.- Temporarily deactivate all your plugins except NextGen Gallery and NextGen Pro (or Plus).

2.- Is the problem solved? Then, it was caused by one of your plugins. Please check one by one and find the one causing the problem.

3.- If the problem is not solved with the deactivation of the plugins, try changing to a standard WordPress theme, it could be a conflict with your current theme.

    Please, keep us posted.

Hi @rdummer – I’m very sorry to hear about the conflict with the Enfold Theme. I understand that it’s important to you that they both work well together. Please keep in mind that it’s virtually impossible for any plugin or theme developer to guarantee compatibility with all plugins and themes (literally thousands of plugins and themes) because they’re all maintained by separate developers and not all plugins and themes keep up to date or agree with one another. We do our best to keep up to date on a regular basis and we’ve been doing pretty good at that. Also, in our beta testing we install alongside our plugin some of the most popular plugins and themes so we can keep on top of compatibility with them. Sometimes we’ll miss a conflict with a well-known plugin or theme, and we’ll want to address that as soon as possible. Please send us a bug report referring back to this forum thread and mention in your report that Becky referred you. ?? https://www.imagely.com/report-bug. Please note that our developers have to work in the order of priority; meaning that a bug reported by hundreds of users, or a plugin/theme that is very popular will need to be addressed before a bug reported only by a few, so it may take some time to get back to you on this. Because of limited time in troubleshooting smaller plugins and themes, it may be that we will be unable to provide a solution, so I would encourage you to reach out to the developer of this theme as they may be able to address this conflict much sooner than we would be able to.

    Thank you for your understanding,
    Becky

Given the source of the conflict is not a bug in our plugin, but a conflict with a third-party theme I am going to mark this thread as resolved. Please feel free to continue to add comments below.
