My logs for that site seems broken. But, I just went to get the plugin name and every plugin that was active — about 25, all give the same error :

The plugin threewp-activity-monitor/ThreeWP_Activity_Monitor.php has been deactivated due to an error. The plugin does not have a valid header.

I can’t FTP in right now to get the header

A link to the page where you are having this problem might help.

I’m not clear exactly what the problem is from your post, but it does seem like you need to turn off threewp-activity-monitor. You said that you are not able to FTP in, but are you able to deactivate this plugin from your dashboard?

You will probably want to note this notice on that plugin’s page:
“This plugin is obsolete! If your webhost has PHP v5.4, use Plainview Activity Monitor instead.” I think I would check if your host is using PHP v5.4.

All my sites use 3WP and only this one errors. The plugin isn’t active so I can’t fix t that way. Tomorrow I’ll try to get in to FTP and if I can, I’ll upload one plugin at a time and see what happens

Still can’t FTP in. I get a timeout error. My host hasn’t answered any emails so Im stuck. Even if I chose to leave them my files can’t be retrieved. .

If possible, contact your host about how they might be able to help you out. Maybe try them again on Monday?

Backing up your site should give you all the files that you need to restore it. BackWpUp is a good free plugin, and BackupBuddy is a paid one that has a very nice restore feature.

But if you are having problems on the site related to a plugin conflict of some kind, changing your host will not help solve that.

BUT, you could make a backup of your site, and then restore it on your local computer (called localhost), which might give you some options to be able to test out what’s wrong.

I’ve written to my host every day for a week with logs. No response. I can’t backup if I can’t get into my site to run a plugin, right? Of the twelve, two are new and six do auto backups daily. Do four don’t do auto backups.

Couple of sites have big dbs. I can install locally to see if I have all files but db backup on all sites. Since I have amnesia and lost all coding skill — used to write plugins — could you remind me how to install locally please

Host just responded. All is fine on their end. But I can not reach my sites or my FTP . Something isn’t kosher. I also get disconnected from wifi every twenty minutes. Used to be thirty last week

You said you couldn’t FTP in, but I didn’t realize from your posts that you couldn’t get into the dashboard either. ??

    Where are you hosted?

Can you post a link to the broken site?

Sometimes I can, mostly I can’t. Connection timed out. My host is checking again if my static ip is blocked.

I can msg the URL to you but I’d rather it not be posted publicly. A bit of adult talk, etc on there.

    I just went there

    This webpage is not available

    ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

The server at https://www.mysite.com can’t be found, because the DNS lookup failed. DNS is the network service that translates a website’s name to its Internet address. This error is most often caused by having no connection to the Internet or a misconfigured network. It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing Google Chrome from accessing the network.

Thanks. Read but this happens to most sites but a reload fixes all but mine. I don’t know how to clear cache on iPad Since I am granted use of the wifi i have no access to a router, I can’t reset it. I’m planning on talking to the admin to have her reboot but this is a hospital setting and shutting down for a few is a problem.
