• Hi there,

The emails which went out to my subscribers (via the Subscribe2 plugin v. 8.5) today have, for the first time, got the following code (an example taken from one email that went out today)

in the subject line between the ‘[{BLOGNAME}]’ AND ‘{TITLE}’. There is nothing showing in the template on the Subscribe2 Settings page to explain this; the ‘Subject line’ in the template reads ‘[[BLOGNAME}]{TITLE}’. The complete subject line for onesuch email, when it arrives in the inbox, reads as follows:

[Mad Blogs and Englishmen?] Tall Story

Whereas, in the past, they have read, for example:

[Mad Blogs and Englishmen?] A River In Egypt

These are the first emails to go out since I updated to WordPress v. 3.5 today (and I might have also activated a Subscribe2 update yesterday, I can’t remember).

I’ve tried resetting the settings, but it has made no difference to the format of the email subject lines.

Any advice on how to correct this would be much appreciated!

    Many thanks,

    MBE

  • I experience this, too. Woe to those who perform WordPress upgrades without checking interoperability with plugins first. Apparently I suck.
