Codex – Network Activation. How to?

  • Hello!
    So what about Network Activation?

    I am looking on how to enable my plugin to be Network Activated if needed. I always come across the phrase Network Activation, but unfortunately, always from the admin (user) perspective. How about the developers?

    If I am not wrong Codex does not mention anything.
    So, how do I code my plugin to be network activated?

    Simple

    My plugin is the simplest one. No options, no settings pages.
    It just adds a metabox below the Create new post page (along with some scripts).

    It works fine, but when someone tries to enable it across the Network, it fails. It gets to each Blog’s Plugin section, but as a deactivated plugin.

    Looping Blogs

    So is looping through each Blog the solution?

    And if yes, what is the function that should be called from inside that loop?
