Collapse in widget?

    Hi, I hoped with installing collapse-o-matic it would be possible to expand a year into month (and possibly even month into post titles) in the widget. It looks like this is not possible. 2023 – 2006 is already a long list and there is one year with 75 posts.

    Hmmm. This is an interesting idea. In effect, you want to have a post-by-post listing that is grouped by month and then year, with the year and month being collapsable, correct? or would it make more sense to show a year ‘grid’, something like:

    2023: Jan | Feb … | Dec
    2022: Jan | Feb … | Dec

    Clicking on the month would show all posts from that year’s month. This archive page could also show the archive grid widget with the current month highlighted.

    The grid feature is already built into Archive-Pro-Matic. The collapsable year/month concept would have to be more thought out and then added. As that would be a more advanced feature, it would not be added to Annual Archive, only to Archive-Pro-Matic.

    Interesting idea, nonetheless!

    Because the sidebar offers little horizontal space it should be at least configurable to:
    2023
    Jan
    <title blog 1>
    (free version of pro when realized would be nice)
