    Hi does anyone know how to hide the ‘collapse menu’ label and icon in the left menu area in the backend?

    You should use the ‘Global Options’ and add a custom item, like named as ‘Collapse menu’ and use the selector #collapse-menu. Save it and select the resulting checkbox for the role, there should not have this item.

    Thanks Frank. That worked great! I was trying it in the ‘Menu Options’ area which is why it wasn’t working.

    The menu settings works with slug of each item and this item is not an right menu item, haven’t a slug.
