Collect IP at Cart page

  • Hi,
    Is there a way to collect the visitor’s IP address only if and when he visits the Cart/Basket page.
    The reason is we get abandoned carts and they back out before they start the check out process so we never can follow up. If we have the IP then we could block persistent “offenders”

    Just to add, I think you classify this as “Visitor user ( Carts without Customer Details”.
    It would be fantastic if we could capture the Visitors IP.

    I’m not sure if it’s possible from our side to only track the visitor’s IP if the cart is abandoned.

    I highly recommend you contact your theme provider and share the details. They’ll help you better in this matter.

    Let me know if I can help you in some other ways.
