Color Schemes not functioning anymore

In the latest release of the Facebook Plugin (1.5.4) Color Schemes are not functioning anymore.
The widget options to choose the Color Scheme (“Light” or “Dark”) are still there, but sadly regardless of the choice the only thing visible are the new blue Like & Share buttons.
