• Update to Elementor 3.6.1 after reading it resolved conflicts of previous update (3.6.0) BUT it doesn’t allow me to modify anything as the editor column remains in loading mode. So, I had to roll-back to version 3.5.6 to continue working on the site. I use Colormag theme, Elementor Pro 3.6.4 and EA for Elementor 5.0.11

Is it coming any update in order to be able to use latest version of Elementor plugin?

Thank you for a urgent feedback

  • Hi @dottino,

    Thanks for reaching us,

After the latest version of the Elementor update, the ColorMag theme did not allow editing the page created by the Elementor plugin. However, we have already fixed the issue within the theme. So you can now update the theme to the latest version which will fix the issue.

Once you have updated the theme you can also update the Elementor plugin which you have rollback to the previous version earlier.

Kindly let me know of any issues while updating the theme and I will get back to you.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m using Colormag version 5.9.2 (NOT pro version). Is this enough in order to go ahead with Elementor update?

    thank you again

Sorry @barsha04 I think WordPress version 5.9.2 and Colormag 2.1.0.1

Is this the latest Colormag version available? How can I in case update it?

    thank you

    Hi @dottino,

    Thanks for getting back,

With the ColorMag free version 2.1.1, we have fixed the issue which you can check from the ColorMag changelog here: https://themegrill.com/changelogs/colormag-changelog/

I am sure you must have received the theme update on WordPress Dashboard > Appererances > Themes. If so, please update the theme.

In case the update is not available, please download the latest version of the theme from here: https://themegrill.com/themes/colormag/ and install and activate it by following the guideline here: https://docs.themegrill.com/colormag/install-colormag-theme/

Let me know for any confusion while following the steps above and I will get back to you.

Hi @barsha04 I’m quite sure the update is not available in my WP Dashboard, where the theme results as “update” and is Colormag 2.1.0.1

There’s any chance it will become available in the next hours/days in order to avoid to go ahead with a procedure that doesn’t make me feel confident?

    thanks again
    Marco

    Hi @dottino,

    Thanks for getting back,

It seems that your site is already in the latest version. Please update the Elementor version to 3.6.1 and check if it helps you fix the issue or not.

Hi @barsha04 but if my version of ColorMag is 2.1.0 are you sure this is the latest version? I see latest is 2.1.1 and I already updated Elementor on Saturday march 26 and it didn’t work.

    thanks

@barsha04 anyway, I tried to update again Elementor to 3.6.1 but doesn’t allow to modify the page. So, I had to roll-back again to 3.5.6

Do you think ColorMag update 2.1.1 will be available in my WP Dashboard as it isn’t so far?

    Thank you
    Marco

    Hi @dottino,

    Thanks for writing in,

There is no specific time when the updates will be displayed on the dashboard. So please follow the manual method as suggested above for updating the theme to the latest version which will fix the issues and you can also use the latest Elementor version.

Let me know for any confusion and I will get back to you.

    Hi @barsha04
thank you for your suggestion. Just one more thing: if I follow the manual update, will I lose the additional CSS implemented by me? If yes, maybe is better to wait for ColorMag update available in the dashboard.

    thank you
    M

    Hi @dottino,

    Thanks for reaching us,

Updating the theme manually will not make any changes to your site and also it will not remove the CSS code from the additional CSS box.

So you can follow the manual method for getting the latest version of the theme. In case you have any doubt, you can backup your site before updating the theme to the latest version.

Let me know if you still have any confusion and I will get back to you.
