Homepage with static page content not working

Hello, having trouble with homepage content, i want to use the static page for home page instead of content in appearance > custom sections so i have unticked menu – Front Page > Check to hide blog posts/static page on front page and i have selected my page in Homepage Settings > my homepage….im pretty much stuck now. My site is translated in 3 languages. Thank you
