    Hi,

After upgrading to Colormag Pro I found

missing h1 title tags for all my categories/archive

Still waiting on a fix please.I reived an email from support, saying the h1 titles have been optimized.

But that is not what I can see from looking at the source code of your theme demo files.

Please check the following Colormag theme demo
    1. Colormag – free > categories
    2. Colormag Pro > categories

I just noticed, that the Colormag free demo has h1 tags,

while your demo of the Color Mag Pro is also missing H1 title tags.

    examples:
    Free version:

    https://demo.themegrill.com/colormag/category/politics/

    has valid h1 title: Politics

    ————————

    Pro version:

    has no h1 tags:

please see your demo example > https://demo.themegrill.com/colormag-pro/category/health/

So the problem does not appear to be with my site, but rather a bug in the theme?

    Please advise, Thank you,

It seems to be issue within the theme. So, can you edit the file: inc/functions.php of the theme and find the function: colormag_colored_category_title() and then, there you can see the heading tags being used. There, in that very function, change the H3 tag to H1 tag and see if that helps you resolve the issue?

    Thanks.

    Thank you, Nitu.

I have looked for this code but cannot find it under inc > functions.

I sent a ticket with a screenshot to support to get more detailed instructions.
Will there be an update of the Colormag pro version with a fix of this issue?

    Thank you

    @angie101

We replied to you on the support ticket already. So, can you follow up there instead?

    Thanks.

    Thank you, Nitu

    It is working now.

For everyone having the same issue:

edit the file: inc/functions.php of the theme
    find: the function: colormag_colored_category_title()
then in that very function, change the H3 tag to H1 tag

    .

    Hello,

I have a problem with the hierarchy of tags H1, H2, H3 and H4 on the posts and its reflection.

The main page of my site has the H1 tag of the website. But we we run to any single post, this H1 tag turns into H3, but it still stands first in the hierarchy. So we have H3, H1 (of a single page tag), all its H2, H3 etc tags.

The problem with disorder of tags is shown in the META SEO inspector extension.

    I use Colormag free theme.

Appreciate all the help and tips I can get.
