ColorMag Theme creates too many different image files

  • I have a big issue on my website https://www.reisprins.nl. My webhosting company only allows a maximum of 200.000 inodes. This means I can not have more then 200.000 files stored, independent of the size of these files. At the moment I’ve reached this amount of files.

    After research we found out that the big amount of files is because of the different files that are created when uploading a new image. When uploading a new Image it automatically created 26 (!) different files.

    To decrease the amount of inodes I need to downsize these different files. Can someone please help me how to do it? I think the ColorMag Theme is also the cause of many of these different files.

    I suspect one of the plugins you’re using might be causing the problem, so please try deactivating all?the plugins one by one and check if the problem resolves.
