Colorpicker add more than 8 colors

Hi, got a question about the colorpicker in Elementor also in combination with GeneratePress. With GP i’ve got a function to add custom colors to the colorpicker (see here for the code). Here I can add more than 8 colors (very useful for different button states, light backgrounds etc.) But Elementor doesn’t seem to get these colors, even when global colors disabled set in the settings. Is ther a way to create a color palette once and use it for Elementor and GeneratePress? Also posted on Facebook
