I have installed the free version of The Event Calendar and the Category Colors plugin, which is designed to allow for the creation of categories of events, with different colors assigned to them. I have created four different categories and applied a category to each. I have applied a category to each of the two test events that I have created, but they are still showing with the Accent color, not the category color. I have searched The Event Calendar section in the Customizer, and also reviewed the settings for both plugins, but I can’t find a solution.

My other issue is that despite the fact that I have entered a price for an event in the Event Admin area, the price does not display in the “Quick Preview” pop-up.
I hope that someone can help me resolve one or both of these issues. Thank you.

    Hi @chrishannon,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I checked the default Events page of your site, and I’m seeing the various category colors in that view.

The calendar on the home and calendar pages is generated with an Elementor add-on, so the CSS from that is what generates those colors.

The Quick Preview popup (screenshot) is also generated by that add-on. When I view that event directly and the popup on hover in the default calendar (screenshot), the price (FREE) shows.

I hope this helps point you in the right direction, please let me know if I’ve misunderstood anything, or if you have any questions!

    Thank you,
    Erica
