Colors Not Updating on Live Site

  • The colors I update when customizing the pages do not update on the live site. We have tried with several browsers and different PCs, phones, and tablets.

    To check, are you changing the colours via Appearance > Customize? If yes, what is the desired colour as I’m currently seeing that a blue scheme is in use.

    Something that’s easy to rule out is are you saving the changes in the customizer, and not saving them as a draft?

    How do you save as a draft? I am going to Customize and then I change the individual theme colors, then editing using the Edit Page button. The register/sponsor buttons, background to the date/location, and the About sections at the bottom are all changed to gold in the editor, but they display as blue in the live site.

    Hi! When you make an update to the colors, look for a gear on the Save button. There are options to Save Changes, Save Draft, and schedule.

    Choose to save changes.

    You will also want to clear any caching plugins you might have. They can speed up the site load, but sometimes miss updates like this.

    @supernovia I have done all of this but the problem remains. None of the theme colors listed are even in the light blue color shown on the live site.

    Are you using any caching plugins?
