    Hello,

I also want to change the colour of the links, and copied the code above supplied by bdbrown, but I don’t know where to paste the code. I was going to paste it into the editor and saw a warning there. I have no idea how to create a Child theme (I’m a newbie at this!). Is there any other way to change the link colour?

    Thanks.

  • The code I posted was CSS. It can be implemented in one of several ways:
    1. Use a plugin like Simple Custom CSS. That will show up under the Appearance admin menu.
    2. If the version of the theme you’re running has the Custom CSS option you can paste it there.
    3. Create a child theme and use the child theme style.css file. You can easily create a child theme by going to Theme Options, then click the Help tab in the upper righthand corner. One of the options is to Download a sample child theme. This will download the child theme zip file to your local computer. Then add the theme like you normally would, but browse to the zip file you downloaded. Then activate the child theme. If you then go to Appearance > Editor, it will automatically open the child theme style.css file.

Thank you for all those options, and the speedy reply. I’m sure to get one of the methods to work!

Give it a go and, if you have any problems or questions, let us know. When you’re satisfied with one of the options and don’t need any further assistance here, please mark the topic as resolved. Thanks.

Thank you. That worked perfectly (option 1).
