Columbus, Ohio – New Meetup Group Announcement

  • We’ve started a new meetup group for the Columbus, Ohio area (finally)! If you’re in the area, please join us. We’re regularly meeting on the third Thursday of the month.

    We’ve got access to a great meeting space at the Downtown Tech Center at 423 East Town Street, Columbus, Ohio.

    The group has been organized by Angie Meeker (organizer of WordCamp Columbus 2011, https://wordcampcolumbus.com), Dave Donaldson of MaxFoundry (themes and plugins, https://maxfoundry.com) and myself – Jonathan Davis from Ingenesis Limited (Shopp e-commerce plugin, https://shopplugin.net).

    We will be covering a range of topics from beginner to advanced programming techniques. We want to have something for everyone at every meetup, so even when the primary talk is covering an advanced topic, we’ll have some of our experts available to break out and do a smaller hands-on workshop for beginners.

    Participants of the group are welcome to bring guests, request particular topics to get covered and even take a turn at the podium to share their WP knowledge.
