Hi beat. There have been several changes in the new version.
1. The shortcodes are now part of an Addons plugin available on the theme web site under “How can I recover the previous features of the Github “full” version of the Hueman theme?”.
2. All the theme options have been moved to the Customizer because wp.org requires all new and updated themes in the repository to use the Customizer.
