Column initial state

  • Can the column’s initial state be altered to default to what we desire instead of having to slide the columns to the position each time we visit the website?

    Hi @chevyfixr,

    are we talking about the admin list or the shortcode? In the admin you can drag and drop the columns and they should save automatically to that state. Unfortunately it is not possible for the shortcode version.

    The admin list is what I am working on. I can position them to my desired position and they will remain until I close the browser, Upon opening the browser for another session I have to reposition the columns again. I thought I could save the product but the columns reset upon updating. If I move to another product the columns reset to their initial state. Nothing I have tried will lock the columns to my preferred view.

    Hi @chevyfixr,

    I think the columns retain their state on a product basis but I haven’t touched this part in a while. Not sure if it’s saving as a session or as a persistent cookie. I’ll look into it and let you know asap.
