Love Tablepress, I was wondering what the best way/plugin would be to add a column on a big list so there’s a heart button or like button users can click. It would be great if users could also sort the data by ‘likes’ I like the Zilla Likes plugin but it seems to only allow for one like on a page, I want something that I can have one like button next to each item on the list, in a different sortable column. Any advice? thank you!

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

I see what you are trying to achieve, but unfortunately, I’m not aware of an existing solution for that ?? There are many plugins that allow the user to rate or like posts, but I haven’t yet seen one that can like multiple/separate items on page (like rows in a table). Sorry ??

    Regards,
    Tobias

Thanks for the quick response, Tobias. Are you aware of any type of user interaction I can do? Whether that’s likes, stars, plus ones, some sort of interaction/like/voting system.

    Hi,

not really, I’m afraid. I’m not really familiar with external services (like Facebook’s “Like” button or Google’s “+1” button.
Your best chance probably is a custom implementation using PHP and AJAX.

OK thank you! For what it’s worth I don’t want a facebook or g+ tie in, just something that users can ‘like’ items in a list. that’s ok. thank you again.

    Hi,

yeah, some custom solution will be the best choice then, I guess…

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
