    Hello,

I am new to Tablepress, which seems just the plugin I need! But I have an issue. I imported successfully a 4 column table in format xlsx, and then proceded to change the width of the main column, the first.

The code I changed is to set the 1st column width to 1000px and the ‘padding-left’ of the 4th column to 50. Nothing else.

The table at first shows fine but as soon as I order the secondo or third column I get 2 issues: the width of the 1st column goes smaller again and the width of the whole table overlaps the sidebar.

    Can you please help? Thanks!

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

The cause for this is that multiple of the space characters in the lists in the third column are so-called “non-breaking” spaces. This means that the browser can not add word-wrapping (a line break) there.

Can you maybe try importing the table again after saving it to a CSV file in Excel? That might already solve this.

    Regards,
    Tobias
