Column with photo not columming

I’m building a page, sorry no public url yet. I can’t get 3 or even 2 columns to form when a picture is part of the item. For troubleshooting I removed the third column to make sure that it wasn’t my pictures not fitting. Nothing changed. I still have a list rather than a column.
Column short codes are working for me on another page in the site but that one doesn’t have a picture in it.
