Sorry for some delay with reply. Images could be blurry if you have big size images but images quality in gallery settings set in medium by default, try to set large value.
Open gallery settings / scroll down to the Gallery size options / Thumbnails options / Thumbnails Quality.

Please try and let me know if you’ll have some other questions.

Also I wish you to know that right now we’re working on Robo Gallery version 3.0 release which will include so much of new functions, for example Instagram feed, youtube channels and playlists support, gallery comments, image rating, new gallery hover effects , new layouts, visual layout builder, visual hover effects builder and much much more. Password protected gallery planned as add-on for the gallery.

I had the same problem in one of my galleries configured with robo. Thumbnails quality option is ok. In my case it was fix this blurring of the thumbnails.

Just one comment : Make sure that you clean gallery cache or cache or some other tool if you have one in your blog. When i modify my gallery settings all my thumbnails was hard cached and I wasn’t able to see changes in gallery post.

Actually in the case if you make changes in gallery settings, even if the cache gallery enabled, when you save new setting and reload gallery page it’s should re-generate all cached items which was modified in original gallery instance.
It’s cold stay cached in some cases, for example, if you have some additional cache tools in your blog or if something goes wrong with permissions or in any type conflict.
So to make sure that everything works correct and you see the latest settings of the gallery which configured in backend try to switch off gallery cache, refresh post with gallery on front end and enable cache back again. For the case to make sure that everything works correct.
