.com vs .org

  • This may seem a stupid question. But my website is https://www.baseballwisdom.org and i would much rather it be .com. I assumed to use www.ads-software.com your website also had to end in .org. Is this true? If not can someone link me examples of websites that end in .com that are hosted on www.ads-software.com

    No, not at all, and neither is there any inter-connection between any site and www.ads-software.com anyway. WordPress is software you can run anywhere to display any site with any .TLD (Top Level Domain) or whatever that is called, and the same would be true at wordpress.com. To have yourdomain.org and/or .net and/or .com or whatever, you simply need to register each, if available.
