I have a WordPress website with many images. To organize these I placed them in folders using the plugin Media Library Folders. I want to create slideshows, so I created a folder for every slideshow containing only the images fot that slideshow.

Next I installed the plugin Metaslider to create these slide shows. But:

When I want to create a new slideshow in Metaslider I don’t get to see the folders from Media Library Folders, but the original WordPress Media with all images. This makes it very difficult to find the correct images for this slideshow.

So my question is: how can I use the folder structure from Media Library Folders when I create a slideshow in Metaslider?

    Hi @stijnstr

MetaSlider uses native media library. If you are using this plugin, I recommend to contact the developer to ask him if have plans to support MetaSlider.

Thanks for the reply. I tried to contact the developer, but they only have a forum that doesn’t answer the question.

If there is another good solution for a slideshow in which I can import images from folders, I’m all ears!

Please note the plugin you are using modifies the native behavior of the media library. Ideally the developer would need to provide support to allow to choose from your organized folders when editing a MetaSlider slideshow.

I found a way to do it. If you use unique names for your folders, you can type the folder name in the search field. You then see all files in this folder and only the files in this folder. Select all and add to slideshow.

Another option would be to buy Media Library Folders Pro in combination with MaxGalleria Pro from the same develloper. They are for sale as combination. This is supposed to work, but I didn’t try it.
