Combine features of two themes together

  • I want to take the large footer from the theme Oxygen by AlienWP and use it to replace the tiny footer on the theme Mixfolio by GraphPaperPress.

    Can anyone help me?

  • You’ll have to pick one theme and then modify the appropriate file(s) – for sure, in a child theme. Likely the footer.php and style.css files, but possibly others. Are you familiar with HTML and CSS?

    I know some HTML and CSS.

    So I need t create a child theme to preserve my modifications, ok that makes sense.

    I am just not familiar with the WordPress framework and didn’t know where to begin.

    I will try replacing the footer.php files and comparing the css files.
