Combine variations quantity to create discount

I’m afraid that without access we’ll just go back and forth on this. Before we go further, can you try a conflict test as described below by:

1-disabling all other plugins except woocommerce and our plugin
2-switching the theme to one of the defaults such as twenty sixteen
3-and try again. If everything is working as expected, that means we have a conflict somewhere so you can start re enabling the disabled items one by one in order to find the culprit.
4-once you do, please let us know so we can start the inspection.

Not really resolved…

I got the Rules button working now. But problem is still there – I can’t set discount for product and its variations. If I buy 2 of one variation and 3 of another (total 5) I should get 5% discount.

I have tried to contact support all day yesterday. Every time I sent message chat says ‘Couldn’t send’

Hi Damian, I have the same problem with All Discounts and essentially it’s useless unless you have one discount for your all your products and/or categories – it’s not able to separate categories of products and offer different discounts, which is very disappointing and not how it’s described when you purchase it! I’ve found the support to be virtually non existent and extremely slow, so good luck getting any result from this. Regards, Kerry

@greenkids can you provide an example of the type of discount you’re looking to achieve? If it’s a standard discount, i’m pretty sure our plugin is able to handle.

@damiancubed2017 can you provide a screenshot of the “could not send” message you’re getting when you try to contact us?

These are the quantity discounts I was offering in my old store (below) and the web developer for my new WordPress store assured me All Discounts would be able to offer the same, but unfortunately it can’t! What it actually does is adds discounts for other products and/or categories together when they are in the cart, instead of treating each product list discreetly. This is very frustrating, as I should be able to set different discounts for different categories and have them work correctly regardless of what’s in the shopping cart. By adding the discounts together the customer is getting far more discount than intended, which I simply can’t afford!
I have now removed quantity discounts for my nappies, which means my store can’t match the competition from other retailers of similar products!

Buy 1 to 5 nappies – no discount applies
Buy 6 to 11 nappies- receive $1.50 each discount
Buy 12 to 17 nappies- receive $2.00 each discount
Buy 18 to 23 nappies- receive $2.50 each discount
Buy 24 or more nappies- receive $3.00 each discount
Quantity discounts will automatically be applied in your shopping cart!

If you can offer a fix for this I would greatly appreciate it.

So let me rephrase to make sure we’re sync:
If the customer adds 6 to 11 nappies to the cart, he gets $1.50 off each of the nappies correct?

If it’s correct, can you provide a screenshot of the discounts you’ve setup and the products lists used for each discount?

Thank you for your response and you are correct – 6-11 nappies should give $1.50 each discount, but only on nappies, not other items from the store. As explained, I have binned the nappy discounts because All Discounts was adding them to all other discounts in my store, instead of calculating them separately. I know the discounts and product lists were setup correctly because they were checked by Adedayo from live chat and the discounts are calculating correctly when only nappies are in the cart, but if the customer adds any other item that also has a discount to the cart, All Discounts adds the discounts together which results is too much discount for all items! I used your site’s instructions to setup the discounts and product lists, but I can’t see how to add a screenshot here? I have given Adedayo in live chat my login details and requested assistance, but they haven’t responded. Any help would be much appreciated – I can’t be the only store that has different quantity discounts on different items – this must be a common request and there seems to be a glitch in your software if discounts from different product lists are being added together – this simply shouldn’t happen!
