    I really like this plugin, but I have a few questions…

    So, say I have two portfolios, one of bedding and one of furniture. If I create two albums, one for each category, can I pull these two albums into one gallery so I can display them all mixed together? – To create an overall portfolio.

    If so, can I customize the layout of the combined gallery so it uses a particular style, say “justified”? But then if I want to display just the bedding album on a different page, can I use a different style here?

    I’m trying to figure out how albums work. I’ve followed the tutorial, perhaps I’ve missed something, but it’s not clear how I add the images to the album. And once the album is created how do I add this album to the gallery?

    To begin with, an album is a combination of a gallery (several galleries can be combined into an album). Therefore, first you need to learn how to create galleries, and then create an album and add the created galleries to that album. That is, create a gallery containing Tables, then create a gallery containing Cabinets, and then add these galleries to the Furniture album.

    Before discussing gallery or album styles, you need to learn how to create galleries and albums and manage their content. In general, don’t be afraid to experiment with the plugin.

    Thanks for your quick reply.

    I have created multiple galleries and at the moment I use the gallery shortcode to add the gallery directly to my page.

    I’ve also created a few albums, and I can see (by adding the album shortcode to my page) that I’ve added a gallery to the album, however I can’t see where to add the album cover at the moment. Is this because I’m using shortcode to add the album to my page?

    Not sure if it makes any difference but I’m using Divi theme which has a built in page builder and I don’t use posts to create my website, I use pages.

    If you use third-party page builder, you lose the ability to visually customize the appearance of galleries and albums. If you have chosen the difficult path – using third-party builders, then it is easier for you to search and apply solutions for your builder.

    Only the gallery can have a cover – this is a featured image of the gallery post. The album displays these covers, which you can click to view the selected gallery.

    The appearance of the album is determined by the Album Presets page or album block settings, but this option is not available to you (since you are using some kind of page builder)
