Combining theme templates

  • Hello,

    I have come across a theme with a great layout for it’s blog (it appears under page templates when editing a page).

    Is it possible to add that blog layout to the current theme that I am using ?

  • It is possible, but you have to understand little about both themes and the coding structure.

    The theme files may use some theme specific functions & you have to add these functions in your current theme.

    Then you have to copy the files to your current theme. Also you have to rename files as per your theme structure.

    Last, you have to copy the CSS.
