Combining two WordPress support forum users

A while back WordPress forced a password change and I was unable to gain access to my old account. Despite attempting to use the “forgot password” option, I was never able to gain access (this ended up being an issue with my host blocking particular emails).

As a result I created a new user account (name based on a derivative of my old user name) and have been using it on the regular. I recently changed hosts (to my own hosting) and was able to gain access to my old WordPress Forum account.

Is there any way to merge these two accounts so I can start using my original account, while maintaining all my activity of my late user account?

On that note, is there anyway to delete my old account and change my current user name to my old username?
