  • Hi @hypostatic,

If you need your product is in stock/purchasable/visible on a certain day, there are two ways of timer settings.

The first way is you must first add an action to reverse its default state (to unpurchasable/ out of stock/ hidden) and put this action on top of the action line to make it work, then add the default action for a certain date and time under that because default actions cannot take effect by themselves without another reverse universal action (with Everyday time conditional) on top.

In order to set a product to be purchasable on a specific time in this way, timers settings should be:
    Action 1: Set unpurchasable, Everyday.
Action 2: Set purchasable, on a certain date

This way is not available in the free version of this plugin because it requires more than 1 types of actions.

The second way is using only reverse actions (unpurchasable/ out of stock/ hidden) because they can work on their own.

In order to set a product to be purchasable on a specific time, timers settings should be:
Action 1: Set unpurchasable, on the other dates ( not the certain date on purchasable)
Action 2: Set unpurchasable, on the other dates ( not the certain date on purchasable)

You can read more rules to set up timers in the document here https://doc.wpclever.net/woopt/important-the-logic-of-setting-timers/

Thanks, but I can’t make it right.. even I read documentation. I think I need only 1 action so it have to be possible. Now when some product indicate that it’s out of stock, I only want to show customers when product is in stock again. And when product is in stock you just edit stock quantities and “Coming to stock” date disappear of course.

So I tried several action and didn’t work. For example “Set in stock->After date->xx/xx/xxxx”.

    Hi @hypostatic,

Can you provide us with the back-end settings of your timer so we will help you check it?

    Best regards.

    Hi @hypostatic,

As I said, you can’t set up default actions (in stock, purchasable, visible) on the top of actions. By default, these actions cannot be used separately on normal on sale products. Default actions cannot take effect by themselves without another reverse universal action (with Everyday time conditional) on top.

It’s totally opposite to reverse actions( out of stock, unpurchasable, hidden) which can work on their own

For example: you can see the screenshot to understand more easily what is the rules of settings timer by default actions and reverse actions https://prnt.sc/1mnkdqe

In your case, you need set up timer like below to set your products in stock on a certain time:

Step 1: Open the Global Timers tab from the plugin setting under WPClever >> Product Timers. https://prnt.sc/155aqvs

    Step 2: Configure:
Source: Products >> Type in to find products & click to add.

Step 3: Set up date, time and action >> Update options.

Action 1: Set out of stock, Everyday
Action 2: Set in stock, after date 08/11/2021

The free version of this plugin can’t support the above settings because they just work when they combine with other reverse actions which need to take more than 2 actions in setting.
We also provide detailed information about our plugins in descriptions.

    Regards,
