    Thank you hardik,
    for some reason the “Makery” theme affects default WordPress avatar getting functions. It adds its own /makery/images/avatar.png image.

    Please check avatar settings, it should look like this: https://screencast.com/t/r4qaZfvrN4Jd
    Also check Makery avatar settings, maybe you’ve disabled Gavatars.
