comment author not appearing

They are there… just made invisible:
<![CDATA[Judy]]> – look into the comments.php and remove that CDATA craziness from around the comment author.

I am disappointed in that theme: it has this cdata thing, a hardcoded “nofollow” for commenters, hardcoded links in the top menu – I’d have expected something better from its author.

Thanks Moshu. I don’t see the exact code you mention and I’m not savvy enough to know other variations. If I cut and paste the code, can someone tell me the equivalent of what to remove? I don’t know which section to paste so here is the whole thing. Keeping my fingers crossed.

My code was ‘moderated’ and directed to pastebin. Is that sufficient to get the help I need? Do I need to do something else there?

I don’t know how that happened, but it did fix itself. Very strange. Now another commenting problem with the Subscribe to Comment plugin not showing up but I put that in a different thread.

The comments author is not displaying. I’ve tried opening the comment.php in wp-admin folder but there is no CDATA whatsoever here.

For reference, here is my work in progress blog (transfered from my old wordpress.com blog to my own domain)…my host can’t help me and asked me to refer to wordpress support group.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
