Comment box appearing at top of page

Hey there. Just installed and using with Visual Composer and a blank template, so I added the shortcode via functions.php and then use a shortcode block with VC. The problem I am having is the shortcode is added at the bottom of my page but when I load it in a browser the comment box always appears at the top.

VC shows it correctly in preview, and there are no styling options that I can see that can alter this. Any tips on why it would do that?
