Comment Checkboxes not showing

    Hi
    New to WordPress. Installed WordPress in July 2020.
    Recently our web hoster upgraded to wordpress version 5.5.1
    We are running Theme twenty nineteen v 1.7

    All plugins are current and up to date.

    In the comment section, the checkboxes disappeared.

    We have not altered any wordpress code.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated

    This has been resolved by Mr. Arno Welzel.
    There is a bug in the Essential Blocks plugin v2.2.0 by WPDeveloper.
    There is CSS rule in that plugin which turns off all checkboxes globally.
    This has been reported to WPDeveloper. The temporary fix is to deactivate Essential Blocks pending code fix by WPDeveloper.
