• I am using a theme called Diary by Site5. My setup allows you to comment, but always shows the number of comments as “No Comments”, and when you click to view the post, you can’t see any comments.

However, if I go to my Dashboard and then to Comments, I can see my list of comments. If I click the “View Post” link in the right hand column of the comments table, it takes me to a page showing the post, the correct comment count and all the comments.

Example: This post shows “No Comments” and the comments aren’t there:
    https://rabidrunners.com/karis-and-spencer-kill-the-5k/

But “View Post” from the Comments table of the Dashboard takes you here, where everything looks right:

    How do I fix it?

  • Try use a commentluv plugin.

I looked at comment luv, but I don’t see where that gives me the option to fix what’s wrong. Can anyone tell me how I go about making my comment count work correctly, and when you click a post on the index page, it should take you to a page that displays both the post and the comments? My site isn’t doing that now. Thanks!

FYI, it’s clearly not just a theme issue. If I switch to the default theme, I have the same problem.
