Comment-count / Widgetready footer

  • I would like to see the comment-count in the entry-meta
    Is that possible and if so what do I need to do to achieve it?

    I also would like to use widgets in the footer
    I have found a work around but not to my satisfaction
    Is there another way?

    Unfortunately, this is not possible in Oblique, but you can try our newest theme Neve, where all of this is possible and much for. The comment count can be displayed both on single post page https://prnt.sc/p7mv4m or on the blog/archive https://prnt.sc/p7mvbu.

    And for the footer widgets area, there are 4 areas like this, where you can add widgets https://prnt.sc/p7mw15, by going to Appearance > Customize > Footer.
