Comment date does not seem to work

I’ve recently used this plugin to import a ton of comments from an old website that was on Site Finity. It worked great except for one thing… the dates don’t come in.
I’ve tried multiple formats. For the most part I’ve saved the csv as a plaintext file using Sublime Text 2, but in other trials I’ve gone and saved it again in Excell (which reformats the dates in many cases). The following two formats seem to be what the plugin’s documentation suggests to use:
mm/dd/yy
mm/dd/yy hh:mm AM/PMHowever neither worked. I’ve tried other structures such as what WordPress stores in the database which is
YYYY:MM:DD HH:MM:SSto no avail. I’ve tried the European format (dd/mm/yy and dd/mm/yyyy) and American format with full year and partial year. With time and without. Nothing seems to work.Any suggestions on what I can do? Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
