• I downloaded the Comment Email Responder from the website and fixed the problem with my admin not being set to 10 (per instructions here: https://www.lunatail.com/2007/05/31/comment-email-responder-plugin/)

The envelope icon finally appeared that is supposed to allow me to reply to comments. However, I can’t click on it; it has no link, it’s just an image. According to the instructions, I should be able to click on it.

Can anyone help me? I have Quoter installed, too, would this make a difference (I turned it off, but the problem wasn’t fixed)?

    Thanks.

    P.S.
I do have subscribe-to-comments installed, as well.

  • Thanks for using the Comment Email Responder (https://www.u-g-h.com/index.php/wordpress-plugins/wordpress-plugin-comment-email-responder/). The image should have a chunk of Javascript attached to it that activates the plugin and moves your cursor down to the comment textbox.

It’s worth checking that your template header has <?php wp_head(); ?> in it, otherwise the page won’t get populated with the correct Javascript.

Yes I see the “chunk of Javascript.” In the img src tag, that’s what you’re talking about right? Well clicking on the envelope doesn’t do anything, not even moving my cursor down to the comment box.

The template header is supposed to have <?php wp_head(); ?> where exactly? Can you be more specific?
