Comment form not working

    I’v read other forum posts pertaining to this, and I have tried the suggestions offered in them-except-there was one suggestion to change php code somehow (I know nothing about coding and am totally new to this).

    From the front end, I have everything enabled. I have deactivated and reactivated every plug-in in use, updated everything, and I have cleared all browser history & cache. I am using the “Eptima Lite” theme. I am using WP lite forms to create my forms.

    I hope someone can help with this because I have spent an inordinate amount of time trying to figure this out.

    I will try to leave a comment on a post.

    Do I understand correctly: you have deactivated all plugins and no comments are able to be submitted by a website visitor while all plugins are deactivated.

    Do I understand correctly: you have changed to a default theme like twenty sixteen and no comments are able to be submitted by a website visitor while a default theme is active

    pages handle comments differently compared to posts.
    i will assume your theme has the post form available for pages.
    do you have comments “ALLOWED” for each page?
