Please let us know if you have enabled wpDiscuz reCAPTCHA. Also, clear all types of caches (website, wpDiscuz, browser) and check again.

Yes, ReCAPTCHA is enabled for guests. Request method: Auto.

I cleared the cookies and everything with it still enabled, checked it and it still didn’t work.

Then I disabled Recaptcha and clear cookies and it worked! So looks like ReCAPTCHA is the culprit.

Make sure you don’t have other types of ReCAPTCHA/CAPTCHA plugins that may conflict.

Currently, the wpDiscuz works fine on your website.

Yes, it works fine now with ReCAPTCHA disabled. Thanks for steering me in the right direction. Only thing is that now there is no ReCAPTCHA on the comment form, so it’s now prone to spam.

And yes, I do another plugin enabled with ReCAPTCHA V3 which is WPForms Lite, not sure if that’s what caused the conflict. Plus I assumed their captcha only covered the contact forms, not comment forms.

Could you please activate the wpDiscuz reCAPTCHA, disable the ReCAPTCHA V3 in WPForms Lite, delete all kinds of caches and check again?

Done, works now. But now no ReCAPTCHA on WPForms Lite.

Just decided to test again with both wpDiscuz and WPForms enabled, but with its conflict mode disabled. Now everything works fine.

FYI: There is a No-Conflict Mode in WPForms which states: “Forcefully remove other CAPTCHA occurrences in order to prevent conflicts. Only enable this option if your site is having compatibility issues or instructed by support.”

I had this enabled to avoid conflict, but actually it’s the very thing that caused conflict. Go figure.
