Comment form suddenly useless

  • Here are some of the error messages after trying to leave a comment..
    “The comment could not be saved. Please try again later.”
    There’s one that says you’re posting too fast. Slow down.

    I’ve searched and used a code to disable comment flood but that did nothing.

    The comment count in trash and held for moderation continues to increase but when you click to see them nothing is there.

    Any help woulf be appreciated. Thank you.

  • Try to deactivate all plugins first. If you have plugins that clearly relate to comments, then these first. If it works without these plugins, then one of the plugins is to blame.
